Reggie Houston
is a second generation New Orleans musician who not only plays great saxophone and percussion but can be counted on for warm, jazzy vocals, a fine comedic sense, and a charismatic stage presence. As one New Orleans reviewer writes, "Houston serves as a musical straight man to the up-and-at-em Neville, reacting with Fats Waller-ish mock surprise to her 'Fish Fry' lyrics." · Since studying with New Orleans musicians Edward "Kid" Jordan and Alvin Batiste, Reggie has gone on to do regular gigs with such greats as Irma Thomas and Fats Domino, as well as with Charmaine and Amasa. Reggie has also recorded with Peter Gabriel, Buffy Saint-Marie, Cubanismo and countless others.

Amasa Miller
has been hailed as "one of the most sought after pianists in the city, and one of the freshest contributors to the New Orleans tradition." A New York transplant, he got hooked on New Orleans music after hearing the piano playing of Professor Longhair, Dr. John and James Booker. He has played with Aaron Neville, Linda Ronstadt, Steven Stills and Maria Muldaur, among others. He has recorded with Bob Dylan , Lil Queenie, Pfister Sisters , Peter Stampfel , Spider John Koerner and Makoto Kubota of Japan. His musical influences are as varied as his talents, from classical to pop, from country/western to jazz and back to rock-and-roll, from the piano playing of Abdullah Ibrahim to tango, klezmer and Gypsy swing. To put it simply, this cat can play it all!
Gerald French
New Orleans music has been a tradition in the French family for over 100 years! So it's no surprise that Gerald, whose father is the legendary George French, started playing drums at his local chuch the age of 7. He has worked band gigs since he was 14 and has become one of the most sought after drummers in New Orleans, playing regularly with The Wild Magnolias, Leroy Jones, Dr. Michael White and the Preservation Hall Jazz Band.

Zak Cardarelli
Zak was born in Chicago into a musical family and has played bass since the age of 14. He considers Jocko Pastorius as his most powerful influence and admires the playing of modern day New Orleans heavy weights Erving Charles and George Porter Jr. Zak has played with Earl King, Timothea and a Piece of Earth, Maria Muldaur and Stephen Stills. One night in 1987, Zak heard that Charmaine's bass player had left town without telling her. Zak contacted her and offered to play on short notice. Charmaine accepted, and Zak has been playing bass with her ever since.
